Shockingly Dismal (17 Wins, 35 Losses) 2006 NFL Record for Northcoast Sports

One of the best publishers of football magazines is Northcoast Sports run by Phil Steele. Their annual magazines are impressive in their detail. You would think a service this experienced and knowledgable would have a good track record. If your go to Northcoast's website, they list a couple of sports monitoring services (to their credit). One of the monitors they list is Sports Watch. When we go to the Sports Watch NFL handicapper record page we find Northcoast Sports dead last at 32.7% in the NFL for 2006. The next worse handicapper had a record of 46.7%. The best handicapper for the 2006 season was Marc Lawrence's Preferred Picks at 63.8% For all the fine research that Northcoast does you would expect a much better record. In fact if you were to try to attain a record of 17 wins, 35 losses on the NFL in one season it would be almost impossible to hit. It makes you wonder when such a fine handicapper as Phil Steele has such a bad season that luck has more to do with it than we realize or other factors are involved. We feel sorry for the people that paid good money for this service and less than one out of three releases won. Now that these bettors funds are depleted, we are offering a link to a free service releases forum (www.atstalk.com/service-plays-requests/). Folks who pay for services post them for free and you can request certain services releases. We certainly hope Northcoast can turn their service around next year but its a warning to handicappers everywhere - when things go bad, they really can go bad.
