Vegas Handicapper Report - We are sad to report that Lieutenant Colonel Bookie Basher crashed and burned his air force jet outside the Nellis Test Range near Las Vegas last night. Colonel Basher has had 17 consecutive weeks of winners but this week he is down 302.5 dimes so far. He is chasing so his losses could be huge by Sunday night. A General S. Feiner from the airbase reports to us that Colonel Basher's career is washed up. General Feiner stated, "Colonel Basher's flying days are over, he has lost his touch. He is out of control now with his betting, trying to save his reputation." A Major B. King told us it was only a matter of time: "Hell I made money this week, up five out of the last six days, what is his problem? He has had a streak of good luck but its all over now. Sure he is chasing. But I am not gonna call him a degenerate gambler, not unless his losses are over 600 dimes by Sunday night. Instead of living with a manageable loss on the week, he is in gamblers ruin mode. Upping his bets to get into profit for one week, he is at risk of losing two months worth of gains. His customers are following him off the side of the cliff like lemmings. The bookies are getting fat. He needs to be making smaller bets when he is losing and live with a manageable loss on the week. Basically, his money management sucks. He is in over his head. I may have to call him with some picks." We called Colonel Basher but he is not answering his phone, word is he is recovering from slight injuries caused when he ejected from his aircraft.
